Cost efficiency

We are a small team and received large quotes from some of the other providers. Cost was important to us and we didn’t want to pay for systems we would not use. It felt as if we were being charged as a 20 branch company by the larger providers. Much of the following results in cost efficiency so we are receiving a cheaper product that saves our business money.

Staff training

We needed a system that would allow new members of staff to be able to manage properties easily and efficiently within 10 minutes of arriving at the office. We needed a system that was simple. Property Owl provides a very straightforward system that anyone can use. Indeed, we have first job juniors who can use the system within a few minutes. This means we can concentrate on training our staff to sell property.

Property Search and Optimisation

We were also looking for ways to cut back in our marketing spend with the bigger portals, such as rightmove et al. The new breed of search engines appear to be of great assistance to us, but we were aware that our site may not be optimised enough for us to truly gain from the search engines. Property Owls relationship with the new breed of search engines was a key selling point for us and now we appear for free across a wide range of search engines. We no longer spend on any property portal.

The Future

As we grow so does Property Owl. This really benefits our model as we are an innovative company. We know Property Owl has much in the pipeline and we are looking forward to the future.

The usual suspects would tell me how advanced their system was and how I could measure how many people had looked at the small cupboard in number 20 Smith Street on a Sunday afternoon, but would it just let me upload one property that would then upload to all portals in one simple exercise, would it bugger! It was all too complex.
